With solar panels being fitted later this year I wanted to find out what items were using the electricity in our house. Of course it can only be connected to those items with a 13 amp plug so the cooker cannot be monitored. But I have found it useful to see how much electricity is being used over designated periods by certain items. The only criticism is that trying to read the display when the plug is tucked away in a corner or cupboard is not easy as the display is not illuminated. However a small touch suffices and the figures can be read off using that. Good value and very useful.
