Works behind the wind shield

Just what I needed to trickle charge our motor home cab battery, placed it behind the wind shield and plugged it in to the cig lighter! Works a treat

superb

I like the ability to use the OEBD port when the car is simply parked up and avoiding cables running outside the car. The wires are really quite long too so excellent - especially if parking with the sun coming on the rear parcel shelf .. so the unit can be located there and still the wires will reach to the OEBD port. The option to switch to the battery clips is also nice. The size is good too as can easily slip it under one of the seats before moving off .. and so easy to get to when then parking up. Connection and placement is done in seconds.

Life Saver!

I do short, to and from work journeys. During the winter and especially when it's very cold, lights, fan heater, wipers etc are all in use which eats into the life of a battery. Before the recent snow, my battery was on its last legs, even the key wouldn't open the doors. Despite the technical jargon and warnings in other reviews advising it is NOT a charger, but for maintenance only, I beg to differ. I plugged it into the OBD socket the minute it was delivered and left it for 48 hours. The car sprang into life when I needed to use it and when I got to work, plugged it back in. No problems thereafter, even on short journeys. This IS a trickle charger BUT my battery is fairly new so I can't vouch on how it would perform on much older batteries. They could not advertise this as a charger if it could not be used for which it is advertised. It can be left on the dashboard, the solar panel is robust and fairly large with the accompanying leads being of good length compared to other, cheaper solar chargers I've used in the past which barely lasted 6-12months. The OBD plug-in feature is a huge bonus making it SO easy not having to go under the bonnet :)

Lifesaver!

Having had 2 incidents when I returned to my hybrid Yaris after being away only to find the battery flat, I was advised to buy a solar battery charger. I plug it in every few days and so avoid a flat battery. A great product, good value for money, easy to use. No mire flat battery!

Brilliant

I purchased this in May 2018 and I’ve not looked back - I use it everyday as like most on here I don’t do many miles. It’s a godsend
No problems.
