Useful way to clean high windows

Many new homes are being built with high ceilings, and if you live in one, you probably already have a threaded extension pole connected to a light bulb changer that you use to reach those high up ceiling lights. If so, then you have everything you need to use this handy window cleaning tool.

This tool screws right on to the end of a standard telescoping pole and can be adjusted for straight on or angled use. On one side is a squeegee and the other, a removable and washable microfiber cloth. I've tried to clean my high up outside windows with a power washer alone and while it removes some dirt, I can't get close enough to get them completely clean.

Just What I Was Looking For

When we travel with our motorhome, stopping and cleaning that big front window is always a hassle. The biggest reason, is that I simply cannot get enough water up onto the window to do a descent job of cleaning without dipping the foam brush over and over again into the blue water bucket. This I feel will solve that.

I did a little experiment, to see how much water is held by this scrubber, vs my regular foam backed window cleaner. I dipped both of the window washers in water, let them soak up, then removed them from the water, let them more or less stop dripping, and then wrung the water out of them. You can see the results in the two water containers. There is simply no comparison between the two washers. This microfiber scrubber is more like a floor mop, and held easily 10 times the water that the regular foam washer held. On top of that, the scrubber is removeable, and can be easily washed or replaced, and it fits on the same 3/4 inch pole that my other scrubber was attached to.

Definitely worth the money

We have a medium sized I'm the US. So we have 28 windows. Oh and we live in the desert. All our windows were very dusty and straight out dirt. This wiper took care of the grit and grime. I just took a bucket of warm water with a drop of soap to wash off the grime. I had to rinse the water several times working on only 4 windows. Every time I rinsed the water I cleaned the wiper. A bit of velcro and it comes off easily and goes back on easily. We were rinsing it constantly but it did stain a little bit even after handwashing it when we were done. It's a nasty job because of the built of dirt this at least makes it way faster and easier. At least this has a threaded female end so it easily attaches to a bunch of our other kitchen gear. I also have a long tube set that it will attach to. Plus if you have the skill it's pretty easy getting a second story window to be wiped completely clean.

Works well

This works well enough. The squeegee worked well for the sliding door trying to get all the outside dirt off. The product itself is a little cheap because it’s a little flimsy. But it worked well enough and it was really easy to clean afterwards.

Works great

I like that it's multi-angled, and has a serious microfiber scrubber on it. Even better that it didn't come with some flimsy handle. I've got a good extendable handle that this screwed on just fine.

I live in a single level home, but just don't want to have to get a ladder or stepstool out to get the windows done outside. Do yourself a favor and buy a rectangle bucket for this, and you'll be dealing with windows like a pro.
